Julie is leaving the team on Friday. The client expects a quote on Monday. Karim needs to take over that commitment, and Julie’s access needs to be removed: reassigning a task does not remove access, and removing a member does not hand over the work.
Meo supports both actions: client-linked tasks hold the owner, due date and discussion; member management lets the organization owner remove access to the organization.
Hand the promised quote over to Karim
In this fictional example, Julie is a member with the Editor role. Manon, the organization owner, prepares for her departure. Here is the handover she confirms with Karim:
Work taken over
Task: send Atelier quote, version 3.
Assigned to: Karim, by Manon.
Promised deadline: Monday, 11:00 a.m.
Confirmed: Karim opened the file and confirmed the handover in the task.
Remove Julie’s access to the organization
When Julie leaves, Manon separately removes her access to the Meo organization through member management. The handover to Karim was complete; this second action ends Julie’s access to the spaces in that organization.
Access removed
Member: Julie.
Action: Meo organization access removed by Manon, the owner.
Scope: every space in that organization.
